Fragrance
At Fundamental, scent is an extension of our work in landscape, gastronomy and atmosphere. What began as fragrances created for our own spaces and dining experiences evolved into a collection ‘Day, Evening and Night’, three scents tracing the changing rhythm of a single day. Designed to be worn individually or layered as the day unfolds.
Every fragrance begins with a landscape. Through observation and research, we translate seasons, ingredients and memory into compositions that evoke a distinct sense of place.
We work exclusively with natural essential oils and botanical extracts. Free from synthetic fragrance compounds and artificial fixatives, each scent evolves over time, revealing the character and complexity of its ingredients.
Alongside our own collection, we create fragrances for brands, cultural institutions and places. Each fragrance is an invitation to experience a landscape and moment in time, lingering as a memory.
Fundamental.fragrance
Three natural fragrances, crafted to layer upon one another like memories unfolding through the rhythm of a day; fleeting, fragrant, and mysteriously entwined.
Each batch forms a limited edition and is served in unique, handcrafted bottles coming in two sizes: 10ml and 50ml.

Day, fresh and herby with a hint of spice, opens with bright bergamot, aromatic marjoram, and the crisp clarity of silver fir;
Evening follows, warm, sensual, and mysterious, deepening into rich patchouli, smoky cedar, and the resinous allure of labdanum;
Night descends, dark, fiery, and charged with anticipation, smoldering with myrrh, sweet tonka bean, and the exotic bloom of ylang ylang.
